What to expect

Come and explore the mangroves, limestone cliffs and tropical splendour of one of the most scenic bays on Earth!

Phang Nga Bay is a large bay in the Strait of Malacca, halfway between Phuket and Malaysian waters. Protected as a Marine National Park since 2002, this wide marine area consists of 42 islands, with shallow waters and forested wetlands. In ancient times, this was a portion of dry land which later collapsed, leaving cave shore fragments scattered across the deep blue waters. Archaeological sites have been found in Phang Nga bay proving that 10,000 years ago, humans could walk from Phuket to Krabi.

Phang Nga Bay is also famous in popular culture. It was used as a set for the James Bond movie "The man with the Golden Gun" and because of this, the lonely island of Koh Tapu gained a new name as "The James Bond Island".

Departing early in the morning from Boat Lagoon Marina in Phuket, we will reach the first sightseeing spot in under two hours. After our cruise, which will make your eyes open wide with its breathtaking beauty, we will arrive back in Phuket at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Discover the detailed itinerary of the cruise below.
