7 Day Voyage of Discovery in West Corsica

Yacht Charter and Boat Rental in Liguria

Adventure Provided by: Betty M. · Charter Agency

What to expect

We invite you to come and have the adventure of a lifetime as you discover the Mediterranean sea and its many treasures - crystal waters, vivid marine life, breathtaking islands, hidden bays and pristine beaches!

Our 7-day trip gives you the perfect opportunity to explore, swim, dive, kayak and snorkel, while you soak up the magic of the Mediterranean. Experience the wonder of living on board the yacht and spending nights lying under a sky full of twinkling stars.

Our cruise starts from Marina di Andorra in West Liguria, from whence we sail into the central Mediterranean sea, making for the beautiful island of Corsica.

Corsica is defined by its single majestic chain of mountains, seeming at times to be almost a continent in its own right, with its 14 regions offering a diverse range of landscapes, plants and animal life. The Natural Park of Corsica is dedicated to the protection of rare plants and animal species and its romantic villages and turquoise blue coastal waters with their hidden coves and sandy beaches will appeal to all of your senses.

Our first stop in Corsica will be in Saint Florent, a small town on the coast of northern Corsica. Originally a fishing port, but now popular among travellers, it is located in a natural bay on the Mediterranean with a backdrop of striking mountains. The beautiful beaches and panoramic views of Saint Laurent will take your breath away and leave you wanting more.

The Desert des Agriates is an arid area of Northern Corsica, alluring in its wildness, located to the west along the coast of Saint Florent. The landscape here is covered with scrubland plants and its fine white sandy beaches are absolutely breathtaking.

Next, we sail to Calvi in the Northwest of Corsica. Legend says that the great explorer, Christopher Columbus, came from Calvi. Situated in a moon-shaped bay, surrounded by brilliant sparkling waters, Calvi was once a Genoese army town. Nowadays it is popular amongst tourists for its beautiful bay, crystal waters and enchanting harbour, lined with pretty bars and cafes.

Girolata is the shining star normally featured on the covers of Corsican travel guides, and it's stunning! With its Genoese fort, eucalyptus trees, turquoise bays sparkling with ever-changing hues of blue and houses that seem as if they are hanging on to the steep sharp cliffs, all surrounded by lofty mountains, this is a unique and magical place.

From stunning Girolata we move to another beautiful place, Campomoro. Peace and tranquillity are what this coastal place has to offer. With no large structures around, you can enjoy some quiet time soaking up the sense of peace as you explore its beautiful sandy beach with its limpid blue waters and backdrop of exalted mountains.

Our final destination, where we will disembark is Bonifacio, at the southern tip of Corsica. Bonifacio is separated from Sardinia by the strait of Bonifacio and is one of the major harbours of southern Corsica. The strait of Bonifacio is a protected marine reserve and the marine life that you will find in these waters is definitely not to be missed. A little bit of trivia for the literature buffs, did you know that Bonifacio was the setting of Vendetta, the famous short story, written by Guy de Maupassant?

Corsica definitely has it all - legends, history, culture and beautiful landscapes, where mountains merge into the land and the land into the sea.

Come and discover the charm of gorgeous Corsica with us!
