7 Day Shared Charter in East Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka
Adventure Provided by: Dominique G. · Charter Operator

What to expect

Come aboard our 52-foot catamaran to explore with us the pristine coast of east Sri Lanka

This incredible voyage begins at Passikudah and ends at Trincomalee. During our week together, you will be admiring the stunning coconut-fringed coast including our en-route idyllic destinations like Kalkudah Bay, Sallitivu Island, Koduwakai and Nilaveli. You will have the unique opportunity to relax on the spectacular white sandy beaches, go snorkelling in the vibrant coral reef,  indulge in a stand up paddle session or just sit back, relax and enjoy watching whales and dolphins jumping around our vessel.

Our journey also includes a cultural and natural immersion as we will visit the magnificent Hindu temple in Koneswaram, a famous Buddhist temple at Lankapatuna, the diverse marine life at Elephant rock, the splendid untouched peninsula of Challitivu, the pristine and tropical bays of Trincomalee and Passikudah.

East Sri Lanka was heavily affected by the civil war which only ended in 2009. Today, the area is safe to travel and offers deserted beaches and wild nature totally untouched by mass tourism. In fact, the east coast of Sri Lanka was preserved from development, hence many places are very unexplored and can be only accessed by boats.

Experience the magic of East Sri Lanka with us and take home a memory of a lifetime!

Please note: the minimum is 2 passengers (shared cabin). Don't forget to bring your sunglasses, hat, bath towel, camera and cash for extras.
