Adventure Provided by: Paolo F. · Yacht Broker

What to expect

Get ready for an incredible week-long nautical adventure, exploring the amazing sights around South Sardinia. It is the perfect way to spend a week in Italy, admiring the pristine natural beauty of this region. We depart from Calasetta and will explore Porto Flavia, Isola Piana, St. Pietro, Carloforte, Cala Zafferano, Nora bay, and Villasimius before disembarking at Cagliari.

We cast off, sailing leisurely towards the north for approximately 15 miles, making short stops at some of the most enchanting bays before reaching near the Port of Flavia, behind the small island of Pan di Zucchero. In the late afternoon, we turn the prow towards the island of San Pietro, known to the ancient Romans as "The Island of Sparrow Hawks," and spend the night here.

We depart toward Carloforte in the morning, stopping at the green and hidden Vinagra Cove, to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters surrounded by astounding colors of nature. Then we continue seafaring southwards to the small islands of Corno and Cape of Sandalo. Shortly after we stop at La Caletta Cove for a swim, a meal, and refreshments. We follow the oriental coast now catching the wind towards the north until we enter Carloforte Port. Here we have dinner and some much-needed rest.

In the morning we turn the prow southwards and follow the rocky coast of the island of Sant'Antioco till the Cape of Sperone. Here we relax and enjoy the calm clear waters and a refreshing meal, before heading toward the cove of Zafferano. Here we spend the night, enjoy freshly cooked meals, and rest.

In the following morning, we start our navigation taking the route to the south-east sailing along beautiful waterscapes including the beach of Piscinni, Cape of Malfatano and Tuarredda. We pass the cove of Cipolla, rounding Cape Spartivento, and arrive at the Bay of Nora, one of the most important Phoenician/Roman cities in the whole Mediterranean basin!

In the morning, we sail across the Gulf of Cagliari, towards Villasimius. Enjoy the wonderful beach here and a pleasant dinner ashore. In the day we sail along the marine reserve of Villasimius, a beautiful and enchanting piece of paradise. It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. After a day here, we depart for our final destination: the port of Cagliari. Here our adventure ends, but leaves us with fond memories that will last a lifetime!
