8 Day Gulet Cruise in the South Adriatic

Yacht Charter and Boat Rental in

Adventure Provided by: Dejan . · Boat Owner

What to expect

Imagine 8 days sailing on pristine waters, aboard a big wooden yacht that's going to take you to hidden bays, majestic fjords and heritage sites of the South Adriatic along the incredible coastlines of Croatia and Montenegro

This adventure is full of exploring and water sports, but you will also have plenty of time to relax, soak up the sun, swim, and snorkel! Our talented chef will definitely please your palates by preparing fresh meals for you every day.

We depart from Kotor, an old Mediterranean port and a UNESCO world heritage site which was built during the Venetian era. The Gulf of Kotor (Boka Kotorska) cuts deeply into the coastline of the south Adriatic creating the famous "Mediterranean Fjords", 4 gorgeous bays that are ringed in by the mountains. We sail past these to arrive at the coastal town of Perast. The beauty of Perast is defined by the striking contrast between water and land and we anchor here for the night.

On the second day, we sail from Perast to Herceg Novi, where we spend the day. We will serve lunch aboard the gulet and you will have time to swim before sailing towards this breathtaking beautiful town. Famous for its botanical garden and known as the "Town of the Writers".

Our stop the next day will be at Catvat, the southernmost town of Croatia. What defines this beautiful village is the Mediterranean vegetation, pristine unpolluted waters, and the mix of old and new architectural styles. Don't miss visiting the Rector's Palace, the Baroque Chuch of St. Nikola, the Franciscan monastery,  the Racic Mausoleum, the pre- Slav archaeological site, and the Šipun cave.

On day 4, we sail from Catvat to Sipan, which is the largest of the Elaphiti islands and it is popular for its vineyards, the laid-back ambience and the fig and olive trees. The sleepy quaint village of Sudurad will definitely enchant you. You can't miss the visit to the 16th Century castle of a wealthy family from Dubrovnik.

Soak up the sun, refresh yourself with a swim and grab some lunch aboard as we sail from Sipan to Dubrovnik on the 5th day. Definitely one of the world's most beautiful towns, Dubrovnik is the perfect city to stroll and discover the aristocratic palaces, baroque churches and medieval forts. We will spend the night aboard our gorgeous gulet as we set anchor here.

The day after we reach Tivat which is situated in the central part of the Bay of Boka at the foot of Vrmac. There is a lot to do here, including visiting the marina of the Adriatic and Porto Montenegro.

On the last day, after a delicious breakfast aboard the ship, we sail towards our port of departure, Kotor. Like the other days aboard our vessel, you will get plenty of time for swimming, snorkelling and relaxing.
