What to expect
The Andaman islands archipelago is located in the Bay of Bengal, between India to the west and Myanmar to the north and east. Most parts of this archipelago belong to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Union Territory of India and some parts are situated in Myanmar, including the Coco Islands. The Andaman Islands are India’s most remote state (Union Territory), located 1000km off the east coast of India in the middle of the Bay of Bengal, closer to the coasts of Myanmar and Thailand.

The island features tropical rainforests filled with an abundance of wildlife and some extremely rare species of birds. The major attractions for tourists are the sandy, secluded beaches and virgin reefs filled with vibrant marine life and kaleidoscopic corals. The crystalline waters of the Andaman sea are one of the world’s richest and least spoilt marine reserves, making it the ideal place for snorkelling and scuba diving. Only four of the Islands in the Andaman are inhabited, mostly by indigenous tribes, untouched by any form of foreign influence. There are two touristic islands which attract many backpackers, as well as some luxury tourists.

The capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands is Port Blair, which is also the centre of commercial activity. As you travel a few kilometres away from the city, the island offers uninhabited, tranquil beaches and serene anchorages. Andaman is a perfect package for adventure tourism as it offers expansive marine wealth and secluded beaches, hidden coves, lush hills and splendid mangroves.

The views of the sunset while cruising through the creek at Yerrata and Long Island are a must-see spectacle for any nature lover. The charter provides a fishing rod and line and you are assured of an amazing catch as commercial fishing is banned and the fish life is abundant. The embarkation point is just 10 minutes away from Port Blair airport, where you may spend some time exploring the Indian market or the frontier town.

The Andamans are best explored by private charter and we would be looking at a minimum cruise of 10 days.

Please send us your proposed dates and we can put together an amazing itinerary for a memorable adventure in one of the most remote archipelagos in the world.
