What to expect

Located in the middle of the North Atlantic, Europe's western-most border, the Azores Archipelago is an autonomous territory of the Portuguese Republic with political and administrative autonomy. The 9 islands of the Azores Archipelago are volcanic in origin and scattered along a 600 kilometres stretch of ocean from Santa Maria to Corvo.

These islands are segmented into 3 different groups, the eastern, central and western groups. The eastern group, comprising the islands of Santa Maria and São Miguel, the central group includes the islands of Terceira, Graciosa, São Jorge, Pico and Faial, and the western group includes the islands of Flores and Corvo. The Azores Archipelago provides outstanding conditions for yacht cruising thanks to the nautical facilities available on most islands. The weather is always great and the sea water temperature is mild and moderate throughout the year. Yacht cruises are the best way to showcase the natural wonders of the Archipelago of Azores.

What awaits you is sheer wonder! Extinct volcano craters that have turned into gorgeous lakes, geysers, hot mineral springs, and steaming rocks. The village landscape is a wondrous green interrupted by whitewashed, red-roofed houses lined by a coast pure blue, shimmering waters, a solace for the bobbing anchored boats.

Come aboard to sail along the south coast of the island of Santa Maria and spend a night under a million stars in the middle of the ocean! Santa Maria is mainly known for its white sandy beaches, characteristic chimneys and dry warm weather. The weather is not the only warm thing that Santa Maria has to offer! The hospitality and warmth shown by the locals will fill your hearts with joy! Everything about this island is real, welcoming and extraordinary.

The base and the starting point of this cruise is the Vila do Porto Marina located near the historic and oldest town of the Azores. This cruise is ideal for 6 people and includes breakfast on board.
