This 180 foot expedition ship is a prestigious river cruising vessel built in Kolkata in 2011, which cruises on the legendary Brahmaputra river in the Eastern Himalayas of India.
The vessel has 5 decks and is powered by 3 marine engines and 4 generators. It is nothing less than a floating 5-star hotel.
The ship features 23 luxury cabins with en-suite bathrooms: 2 suites with balcony, 9 superior cabins with balcony and 12 superior cabins without balcony.
Each cabin is decorated with traditional Assamese silk panels and includes bathrobes and slippers, spa-branded amenities, mini bar, mini DVD player, electric mini safe, air-conditioning, good quality linen and pillows, premium mattresses, convertible bed configuration, large closet and ample storage space.
The superior cabins and suites offer panoramic glass windows leading to private balconies, and superior cabins without balconies each have large picture windows.
The first deck features a swimming pool and the second deck has cardio equipment and weight training facilities.
The main deck features a restaurant, tea and coffee station, hospitality desk, lounge bar and a library. The sun deck offers yoga sessions in the morning.
The lower deck or spa deck consists of a massage room for regular and traditional ayurvedic massages/treatments, steam room and sauna, jacuzzi with shower and salon for hair spa and beauty therapies.
There is also an elevator connecting all 4 decks. The vessel also offers a meeting room with a flat screen TV and sound system, large public spaces and a fairtrade supporting shop.
The food and wine section has an executive chef with chef de partie, chef de patisserie and chef tandoori who will pamper your belly with a sumptuous buffet breakfast, buffet lunch, semi-seated dinner and seated themed dinners.
There is also an onboard bakery with daily freshly baked bread and rolls, sun deck bar and 24 hrs hospitality bar with an extensive wine list. We also offer cooking demonstrations of some of the Indian dishes.
We provide 4-wheel drive jeeps for inland excursions, 2 tenders with a seating capacity of 32 seats on each one for transferring on/off-shore excursions and for boat safaris.
Our friendly and professional crew consists of 35 members, including a trained and certified navigation team with a merchant navy captain, cruise administration, food and beverage department, house keeping and spa therapists.
Please note: Cruising takes place between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm. Night cruising is not recommended by the Inland Waterways Authority of India. The price quoted here is the starting value and it is subject to increase according to the type of cabin and length of the itinerary.
