Luxury Sailing Yacht 40

Our First 40 is a Bruce Farr-designed, French-built, racing/cruising yacht with an Alpi-designed interior that is bright and stylish.

We operate out of the British Virgin Islands, Martinique and the Grenadines.  I am an ASA/RYA Yachtmaster Instructor so spend most of my time teaching sailing.  But I also do charter work (such as is shown here)

BVI Information

You can fly into EIS (Beef Island) or STT (St Thomas).  If you fly into St Thomas just get the ferry to West End, Tortola.  There is a supermarket in Sopers Hole, West End (where the yacht is based from November to June) where you can pick up supplies for your holiday.  To save time you can also order online at the Rite Way BVI website and have it delivered.  There are decent restaurants scattered around the BVIs for eating out at night (and/or lunch if you like) and keeping things interesting.

Martinique Information

We are based in Le Marin however can meet you in Fort-de-France with appropriate notice. If you are flying to Martinique the airport is Fort-de-France (FDF).

Grenada Information

Fly into Grenada Airport (GND) and it is around ten minutes taxi to True Blue in Prickly Bay, where the boat resides between July and October.  There is an IGA supermarket about ten minutes from Prickly Bay.  Like in the BVI, there are decent restaurants scattered around Grenada and the Grenadines for eating out at night (and/or lunch if you like) and keeping things interesting.

Please note: Normal sailing etiquette is for the skipper to eat with the crew paid for by the crew - if you would like the skipper to eat alone please request this and a skipper food supplement of $50 per day will be added.

For more info don't hesitate to contact the operator!
