Good to know

  • Warm and sunny climate year round
  • Cruise one of the least discovered corners of the Med
  • Enjoy the hospitality and cuisine of Cyprus
A Cyprus sailing holiday is a great way to beat the winter blues and enjoy sunshine and vitamin sea in this wonderful island in the South Mediterranean.
Thanks to its location, Cyprus has the largest number of sunny days in the Mediterranean year round, with up to 13 hours of sunshine a day in summer.
Cyprus party hotspots are Ayia Napa and Paphos, two seaside towns that have been catering to tourists for decades. If you’re after something a little more offbeat, sailing around Cyprus will give you the chance to enjoy stunning, remote beaches like Blue Lagoon Akamas, with turquoise waters so vivid they seem to be glowing.
Popular beaches include Coral Bay, a sun worshipper’s paradise with golden sand, and Nissi beach, where you can while the day away chilling on a sun lounger or walk over to tiny Nissi Island at low tide. Most of the waters around Cyprus are calm, but if you’re after some kitesurfing or windsurfing action you should head to Episkopi Bay, where sheer coastal cliffs offer the perfect background for a day riding the waves.
