Good to know

  • British Virgin Islands - the location of your Caribbean sailing adventure
  • More than 25 pristine islands with paradise beaches
  • Amazing sunsets and beach bars for a drink with a view
Sailing the British Virgin Islands (known as BVI by those in the know) means exploring a multicoloured paradise of turquoise and azure waters, dazzling white beaches and emerald forests, before heading into the depths to explore the marvels lying below sea level. With 4 main islands and several smaller ones, there’s something for everyone, and if you opt to cruise the BVI you’re sure to find your very own dream island.
Tortola may house the BVI capital, but it’s still a sleepy Caribbean island surrounded by great beaches, secluded coves and white sand beaches. Virgin Gorda is the BVI poster island because of the stunning Baths, a beach covered in granite boulders. Lovers of beach bars shouldn’t miss Jost van Dyke, a chilled out island with beachside watering holes and some stunning marine features, while Anegada is located a little further from the other islands and has a great coral reef and constant winds, offering diving and kitesurfing opportunities.
This 7 day sailing adventure in the BVI includes the best of what the islands have to offer, including visits to sandbanks and stops at snorkeling sites.

Keep reading to learn more about sailing in the BVI!
